Natalie Generally founded Small Steps Music, L.L.C. in 2010. She wanted to create a music therapy and music education company that would provide high quality, comprehensive music services for individuals and families.
Today, Small Steps provides services in seven counties. The Small Steps staff continues to support, nurture, and develop each individual’s abilities and areas of need through the use of innovative teaching strategies and enjoyable music interventions in a therapeutic environment. Reed Tanner LPMT, MT-BCMusic Therapy and Lessons InstructorMr. Reed is originally from Carrollton Georgia and received his bachelors of music therapy degree from Georgia College and State University. He completed his internship at Therabeat Inc. in Woodstock, GA from January-June 2022. He has always had a passion for helping others and making music and is excited to join the Small Steps family. In his free time, Mr. Reed enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music, and learning to play new instruments.
Makayla PottsMusic Therapy and Lessons InstructorMs. Makayla is from Stockbridge, Georgia and received her Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from the University of Georgia. She completed her internship at Metro Music Therapy in Peachtree Corners, GA. Ms. Makayla loves to explore ways that music can be used to create meaningful experiences for all people. In her free time, she enjoys painting, cooking, dancing, and meditating.
Erin BernierMusic Therapy and Lessons InstructorMiss Erin is originally from Griffin, Ga. She completed her Bachelor’s of Music Therapy at Florida State University and her internship at WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She is passionate about music therapy and is excited to be back in Georgia working with the Small Steps family!
Erin Lamb, MT-BCMusic Therapy and Lessons InstructorMs. Erin is a board-certified music therapist and received her bachelor’s degree in music
therapy from Georgia College & State University. She completed her music therapy internship at Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina working with pediatric and adult medical patients and adolescent and adult psychiatric patients. She is now earning her master’s degree in music therapy from Georgia College & State University while working as a graduate assistant in their music therapy clinic. Ms. Erin loves all things music, listening to podcasts, and exercising! She is thrilled to be joining the team at Small Steps! |
